No.6, John Fowler & Co. Works No. 4240010The John Fowler 0-6-0DH has a Leyland engine and was ex-works from John Fowler, Leeds on 20/10/1960 as works number 4240010 of 1960. She was new to Ribblesdale Cement Co Ltd, Clitheroe, Lancs where she was No.6. By 3/1986 she was moved to Ribblesdale Cement′s Newcastle depot, near Central Station, where her later owners were Castle Cement (Ribblesdale) Ltd.
When rail use ceased here, she moved to Marley hill in 10/1993. She was dismantled for overhaul, but work on her has been temporarily put on hold and she can be found in the shed yard.
