Description

The sixth part of Jon Marsh’s series on industrial railways in the 1960s and 1970s. In this volume we use the first half of Phil Tatt’s industrial railways collection filmed during the 1960s.

We see crane tanks in action at three locations, the Garratt at Baddesley, vintage electric traction and more.

Locations include East Midlands Ironstone lines, Hodbarrow, Shelton, Doxfords, Wissington, Farnborough, Foxfield, Gartsherrie, BICC Erith, Wirksworth, six NCB pits and two gas works!
