The eight part of Jon Marsh’s series on industrial railways in the 1960s and 1970s. This volume uses Paul de Beer’s collection filmed during the 1960s.

We visit Dibbles Wharf, Pride of Sussex Flour Mills, Bowaters, APCM Snodland and Swanscombe, Reids Imperial, Empire and Aylesford Mills, Halling Works, Slough Estates, Wirksworth, many ironstone lines, and the National Coal Board (NCB) sites in Warwickshire, Staffordshire, Yorkshire and Durham.

We also visit British Sugar, Doxfords ship yards and more. Plus the Garratt at work at Baddesley
